How to use a mouse and keyboard, the basics of a new device, tips on organizing your laptop.

Get started with Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint (or their equivalents), or help utilizing templates, organizing a page, or making edits to existing documents.
- Downloading Apps and E-books:
Get assistance with a Kindle or other e-reader devices, and learn the basics of using the Libby or Hoopla apps.
- Internet Safety:
Get basic tips, suggested resources, and best practices for keeping your accounts and devices safe, including how to recognize and avoid malware, viruses, spam, and phishing attempts.
- Email:
Set up a free email account of choice, and learn to send/receive attachments safely and keep your email organized.
- Social Media Basics:
Learn about the different types of social media platforms and get help setting up an account, or just get answers to your general questions about social media.
- Database Basics:
Discover the various research databases accessible at DCL, such as Consumer Reports, Legal Forms, Investing Center, MyHeritage, and many more.
